N.S.P.I were contacted by Jane doe #1. of a town on NY on July 13th 2009 in regards to some activity in her home The info that was received, was mainly of her and her daughter, where both being touched, to the extent that it would paw at their feet, and follow them from room, there was also the claim that at night the bed would shake at night.
Also there were claims that there were occult practices in the home by Jane Doe#2, in order for her to communicate with her deceased brother.
Jane Doe #1 also informed us that her previous home, the Paranormal activity was so malevolent that she and her family had moved in one night!,, this had me very concerned also at this new location there are young children.
As with any of our cases, when it involves children, that takes priority. Craig, Dan and I went to the home as soon as possible to do a preliminary interview with the family to kind of get an idea of what was needed. When we were greeted by Jane Doe #1 and her father , we were then invited into the house.
One of the first things that I noticed was the atmosphere of the home it felt heavy and oppressive, all the windows were open, and home was very well kept. It was difficult to find dust!
Now both Jane Doe#1 and Jane doe#2 have tried to capture what was ever in the house on a camera, We were shown the photos and there where some orbs that I could not account for, and I am one not really for the orbs, but I could not explain these, But what had us concerned was the dark shadows in some of the photos.
After some odd EMF readings both Dan and I entered the bed room where the bed that would shake and the girl would be attacked. I laid down in the bed and after a few min I had a burning sensation go up my left leg , I said okay you have my attention , why are you here and what do you want, after that Craig laid in the bed and was also getting odd sensations up his legs.
Now to give some history and info on the home Back in the 50’s and 60’s the building that was there was a Bar and Grill
With an apt upstairs on the 2nd floor, now the Bar burned to the ground in 72 with the death of a Joseph Mitchell who was burned alive, and his body was found the cellar afterwards.
The home now was built on the original foundation. Now the Geology of the property is Granite with a sand stone overlay, both which contain high levels of quartz, the property also lies near an active fault line and about 40 ft from a major river
Now with taking the history and the location, there is just about everything for paranormal activity. What had me really concerned was the séance that Jane doe#2 did ,cause she read it from a book from the library and cannot what spell she used but she did ask for it/him to come forth.
At this point in time most of what was clear to us is that when cast that spell she by no fault of hers let something in.
As to what this was we were unsure but we knew that this thing need to go, I contacted Jeff Stewart the Director of PI-ne out of Vermont Jeff has been a good friend and in this field for 20 yrs, and he has more experience in the dealing with occult practices
We set up a date for a full investigation on July 20th 2009 @ 8:00 pm As we were setting the systems up Jeff was able to gain some back ground , and to kind of get an overall Idea of what we may be in store for. Now the members that were on site for this were myself, Gerry Nichols, Craig Roberts SR. and Jeff Stewart.
Now there is an apt attached to the house, and there is an infant girl there, our first priority was to clear that apt, for safety reasons, until we could set up a barrier of blessed salt which has been known to set barriers. But until we could discover what it was, I did not want to give this thing a place to run.
Now during this investigation, Jane doe#1 and Jane doe#2 remained there, We began in the bed room with Jane Doe #1and Jane Doe#2 lying in the bed, Jeff started some spells of protection and ask the entity to show it self, Jeff and I thought okay lets get this thing from all directions, I then started saying the lord prayer in Aramaic, and I was trying to say it with as much faith and authority as possible, During this time Jeff was also hitting with blessings and banishment spells. Now remember we are in the bedroom with Jane Doe#1 and Jane Doe#2 in the bed, as we were reciting these Electro Magnetic Fields base of the room was .2 and a temp of 74.1
And during the spells, the EMF reading shot up to a 2.4 and the temp in that room with the window open still went from74.1 to 80.2 in under a minute. And during this time I could see that Jane Doe#2 was having an anxiety attack, or what ever was in the room was focusing on her.
When I noticed this I asked Jeff to get her out of this room and ad stay with her,Jane Doe #1 stayed and I continued the Christianity prayers and bless the room with holy water.
I returned to the living room where Jeff had her sitting down and Jeff was still trying to get a spell of protection on Jane doe#2
When I entered the room Jane Doe #2 was in peril an again I blessed her holy water and ask god and ST. Michael the archangel to answer our calls for help, after words it calmed down, and in the process personally pissed me off !
I do not take kindly to attacks on woman, So after speaking with team I was going after this with every thing in my heart and soul to show it self, and I wanted it to single me out, I called out to it unclean spirit, you are gutless, and I will send you back to hell.
I called this thing out to show it self, it never did, no video evidence was found, But plenty of EVP’s, But as I was walking to the front room to get into better light where we had set up our base of operation, As I’m walking down the hall way, I get a huge push behind me that put me on knees! Well I guess I now have its attention, good, because I was laughing at it the whole time. And again I tried to call it out. But to no avail we did not pick any new activity except some unexplained knocks.
Both Craig and Jeff unfortunately had to leave around 3am, but Gerry and I remained, I had Gerry lay down on the couch and I would watch over the monitor for the equipment. We did this till dawn.
After learning the history , and evidence , and the locations and personal experiences that my team and I had witnessed, It was difficult to determine what it was we where dealing with, I came home and had nothing on video infra-red, but there were plenty of Electronic Voice phenomena. But there was still a part of this puzzle yet to be found. We have a family sitting on a paranormal powder keg. What we need to find was what lit the fuse?
I was able to speak with Jane Doe#1 and after some talk she did come forward that there are something’s that she knows of what a person is thinking, plus able to see ahead, she is clairvoyant as I’m sure her mother was, but I believe that she can control it.
Now onto Jane Doe#2, this girl has sooo much going on in her life that would make many people snap.
Now there is a lot of drama in her life that she takes to bed with her, As we sleep our brains down load into our subconscious, it is proven that most of us as people only use 30% of our brain power, Some are exceptions to this rule, other s can do more, This poor girl has all the stress in the world! And by no fault of hers she is the fuse to the powder
Keg. Now her personal problem will remain confidential, But every team member in NSPI including my self are dedicated to helping Jane Doe # 2 cope and face this emotional stress and to be there 24/7 and as the president/lead investigator we will help her find some inner peace and how to control her new found gift.

supplemental: After the main Investigation, The house was blessed by a local Priest, But to no avial the acttivity continues to to day. the status of this case is still open and we will be keeeping in close contact with the family
This case was brought to me by my son and his friend. They told me I should check into the story of "Cherry Hill". I looked into it on the web and the story is that a man went crazy and murderd his family that is the short version but you can view it on shadowlands, and strangehappings , and there are few other sites. But it appears that it was copied and pasted to all the sites? Well don't get this confused with another story of a cherry hill that is down near Albany. The one that I am referring to is in Standish N.Y., Clinton County. We are based in Plattsburgh NY in the same county.
I went down to the county clerks office and did research on the owners, past and present, and even looked into the wills they left behind. The family that was there had this property from 1805 untill 1959, and none of the deaths in the family were even in the same year!And I also checked local papers from 59 to now, well if there was a murder the news would be all over that story, but there wasnt So When they sold it, the last owners of that family didn't even live there , and it was sold to a couple that lived in Plattsburgh and they sold it to another couple, that never lived there, so to make along story short everyone who owned the property is accounted for and there wasn't any murder of any family members,,, well you might be thinking what about renters,,and you would be right! There was one and he and his wife and kids are fine, and they were the last ones to reside in that building..
I contacted the current owner and asked him if my team could go there and conduct an investigation of the house. He replied yes and then onto how his property has been vandilized, and destroyed by people tresspassing and breaking and entering the property. These were not kids but adults ranging from 19yrs on up. Here is a news flash, this gentleman is a retired NYC detective and carries a permit to carry a firearm!! He will prosecute those who step foot on that property and also his neighbors do watch the house.
He was more than happy to allow my team to go there. He is tired of this story. He came up from the city to be there for the investigation! On August 21, 2008 my team arrived there and set up all of the equipment: Infrared camera system, multiple voice recorders, Infrared digital video recorder ,and other equipment. We did EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) sessions and EMF(electro magnetic field) sweeps for several Hours. After reveiw, nothing,, not even a creeky floor.
After extensive research into county records,deeds,wills,and tax forms, and the geneology of the families that owned the property: but based on the information that I haved gathered and the belief , there hasnt been proof of Cherry Hill being haunted. The current owner of the property has been very patient , cooperative, and nice. I think the property owner and the property itself need to be left alone. If caught trespassing, and you likely will be as it is being watched even closer now , you will be arrested and charges will be pressed.
