Some time they just cant let go

Jones case, Plattsburgh, New York

This late summer we were contacted by Mrs. Jones with a complaint of a feeling that she was not alone, and that there was a presence there in her home. She couldn’t quite make it out to who or what it may be, so she called us for help . We arrived at her home which is just 10by 70 trailer home, which is in fairly good condition, the information and the history that we found , Was that Mrs. Jones was married twice and had a son with her first husband, they divorced and Her son stayed by her side and became like her protector Because her first husband was a abusive spouse, And her son took it upon himself to protect her.

On the first interview Craig and myself spoke with Mrs. Jones at her home. The first thing we noticed was the amount of EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) ranging from 3milligauss to 15 and 20 milligauss On the Tri field . But it was not limited to one room of the home and was not being produced by any item in the home. Now with a trailer home you have a lot of conductive material , and this had us concerned about a possible short in the wiring of the home. I contacted a professional electrician and he went thru all of home and could not find any defects or lack of insulation of the wiring. So now we have eliminated a possible cause for our findings with the EMF levels being produced by any defects of the wiring.

On the next visit we were speaking with Mrs. Jones and we noticed that when she spoke of her late 2nd husband , the Tri field was showing spikes in the levels, both Craig and I attempted to see if we could get response to questions . We did and come to find out her late husband loved dirty jokes! Well I used to drive truck and I know quite a few dirty jokes, and as I was saying them we would get a EMF increase

And, then when I would get to the punch line, The meter would bounce between 0-20 milligauss. So this would be a good indication for us to bring in the team and run thru the investigation. Video , audio and Emf. On that night no one had any experiences other than EMF spikes and yes power was off .We reviewed the audio and video and nothing was found, except for the high readings from the Tri-Field and the Gauss meter, and it seemed as though we were able to make contact with Mrs. Jones 2nd late husband. Now during this time Mrs. Jones never really spoke much about her 1st husband who was the father of her son who was tragically killed in a car accident. When asked about her first husband it was then that we learned about the abuse and alcohol problems that her 1st husband had. After hearing the details I could understand why she divorced him and why her son was so protective of her from him.

So now we have, 3 people who have passed away, and now I'm not sure exactly who was manipulating the meters. I then contacted Evette one of my team members, who is also our psychic/medium. Now when Evette applied for NSPI and claimed to have this ability, I was a little skeptical, so I tested her.

I took her to the location of 5 different cases that are confidential, and no one outside of NSPI knew of them. When she went to those location’s, SHE NAILED EVERY ONE!!. I mean there was no way she could have knowledge of those cases. All I could think of was WOW! She is the real deal and I decided to bring her in on this case. And yes I held back the information of this case from her just to see if she could do it again. All I said was meet me at my place at 3pm. And she did and within 45 min she had everyone’s name, cause of death and which order of who Mrs. Jones was married to, and who was the father of her deceased son ,,,,okay I'm sold!! . when we were there with Mrs. Jones I also had the Tri-field with me. Evette was able to discover that Mrs. Jones 1st husband never crossed over and was still trying to have a hold on her as he did in life. Now remember her son was her protector from him in this life, well her son never left her side, even in death he watches over her and keep her safe from his father. And Evette was able to confirm that Mrs. Jones 2nd husband had crossed over but came back to help her son protect her.

After we were finished and on our way home, Evette and I were planning the next step to take, But one of the things that Evette had pointed out to me was that the 1st husband was very apprehensive toward, other guys and wasn’t really into taking direction from another man, Which would explain why Craig and I couldn’t get him to reveal himself to us, She then went on to say that this guy basically had the mentality of a child and the best approach to have this an leave Mrs. Jones was to treat it as a child and that a woman would get farther with as to leaving , I t was then decided that I would have one of our Lead’s Stacy and Evette to go there and attempt to convince Mrs. Jones 1st husband to cross over. And when they succeed in doing that, her son and 2nd husband should be at peace.

They both had set a date to return there, right from the beginning Evette could feel some resistance, But was it founded more on fear, not from Evette but from Mrs. Jones 1st husband, and not likes a feel of a fight , but more along the lines of telling a child to go to bed, well after awhile of speaking to him he was able to move on Stacy and Evette immediately noticed a change in the atmosphere of the home. So it was safe to say Evette made a good call by handling this in a different perspective.

I was later contacted by Mrs. Jones and she in formed me that the home was peaceful serene.

My daughter Kaylie and I popped in for a visit, And I could tell there was a difference just by waling in the door , I asked her if she was happy and for a change she said yes. Which I thought is really cool. So just to check My daughter and went around the home with the Tr-field meter and we were able to get a 2milligauss reading, and that was the highest we could get.

This case a challenge but we as paranormal Investigators is to realize that we cannot have a pre-determine Idea of who, or what there may be. And remember when we leave there still a spirit that we leave, and that is the client,, so please lets remember that when we pack up, It never hurts to call in a see how they are To the NSPI team Great job guys and to all of you readers out there ,,,

Why do we fear evil?

That’s a questions that I don’t think many of us don’t ask ourselves. I think when we look at that question there are two things that I believe cannot exist with out each other, that would be fear and evil. Don’t get me wrong I think fear is what can keep you safe it is that gut feeling you get when you know that something is wrong and that is something that many of encounter on a daily basis. And that fight or flight is what kicks in to get us out of what ever that is, and it’s instinct to run.

A lot of definitions I’ve found is that Evil is something wrong, bad or painful. Well everyday and I mean everything we deal with in this world there is bad, bad people, bad feelings, and even bad food. Is that evil or just part of life as some us see it to be. There are a lot of things that a deemed wrong, wrong timing, wrong answers and sometimes no matter how hard we try we are still wrong. Is that evil or is that frustrations that we misinterpreted. Now here is a biggie, Pain when we deal with mental pain, such as the loss of a friend, getting hurt by the ones you love. Or burying your own child which is a pain no one should ever have to suffer. And physical pain well you get my point. Now is this all evil, these are thing that we have everyday of our lives. And don’t get me wrong I’m not a Satan worshipper or condoning evil things, but evil has been all around us since god created the earth, which I’m not sure if he/she had a deadline and was cramming it all together, I mean come on look at the platypus?

Evil I believe is that which holds us back by use of our fears, Fear of the bad, wrong or painful. It is the opposite of positive, Negative it feeds on us like a vampire and we don’t even realize it. It will disguise itself in many ways. If you look there is evil in all things. I mean all things. Even down to the atomic level cause there is a negative in all mater, and energy.

I feel that we can conquer the concept, and all that is evil by not giving in to fear, pain and temptation to run. I believe our higher power that we believe in. and the faith that we have in ourselves. And the convictions that we hold to. Evil can be defeated. It can be done. All we need is to understand what it feed off of and that is what you allow it have. So let your brain gnaw on this one. And truly look with in

Where can one find hope within them

Ive often wonder about the cases that I encounter, and the common link is hope, not by me or my members. I mean our clients, I think it may go back to when as children we are taught to believe, such as fire is hot, water is wet and the grass is green. Those are the physical things we learn. Then later as we grow, we encounter faith be it religion, or in each other.

Now as we mature we come into hope, that the one we love will call , that a illness may pass, and that the world will be a better place. And sometimes no matter how hard we try to change we can't, it can be a hard cruel world out there. And as with all things they do come to a end. And we lose the ones we love, and I believe that we return to what we have started in our lives , we now believe that our loved ones are gone, then we turn to faith that they are in a better place. But then there are those which hope that the loved one is there with them.

This is sometimes, when we are called. We research, study, investigate with equipment. In the hopes that we discover somthing for them. But sometimes that is not always the case. We pack up, we review and we cannot confirm that hope for them. It may be easy for some of us to forget, that when we cannot confirm what the client believes to be, that hope is then gone for them

We as investigators sometimes may forget that the soul or spirit that was claimed to be is not there, but there are those loved ones that are left behind. Sometimes it isnt always about a ghost! Take care Corey

I was asked why do I believe in ghost? I thought about it for a sec, then I asked, "why is it ,that you don't?" I replied to the gentleman. Wow, did I get a weird look back, I asked, "Do you believe in God," and just for the record, I do, he said yes, and then I asked him what religion he was? It was Catholic, like me. Why is it that we, believe in God , yet we have never seen him. that some of us are sent to special schools for our religion, and read from a book by some one we have never met, yet we believe.

And then we will get together once a week to make ourselves feel better from all the things we pulled on each other over the week, and even folllow the commandments , laws of morality, etc, I said, you believe this right? He said yes because I believe in God. I asked then , "have you met him? Well no he replied but you belive he's here right? He said yes. Then why is it you dont believe in ghosts? Maybe it's some one you know who cannot rest,,,,,that man walked away with a new perspective that day. I hope???

Alot of the stuff I run into is "well if I cant see it its not there",,, well that has got to upset alot of blind people for starters. But I ask can you see the air we breathe? NO, you can see how it blows the sand on the beach, or the snow on the road, there are more things we cannot see in this world, that we are now just discovering through science , and that is always a belief when you think about it, some day we will all see, but there will always be ones with their eyes closed.
